NORWICH UNIVERSITY

Norwich University, the nation’s oldest private military college, is offering scholarships to CAP cadets with one or more years in positions of leadership. The scholarships are valued at $20,000, payable at a rate of $5,000 per year for full-time residential students.

To apply for the scholarships, cadets must submit a letter of recommendation from their wing and/or unit commander, along with an application for admission, and be accepted as a member of the Norwich University Corps of Cadets. CAP cadets should address scholarship request letters to:

SPARTAN COLLEGE OF AERONAUTICS AND TECHNOLOGY

Spartan College of Aeronautics and Technology – Civil Air Patrol - Cadet Scholarships
Spartan College of Aeronautics and Technology offers one (1) $1,000 one-time scholarship to every CAP cadet in good standing. Scholarships will be awarded in the form of a tuition reduction in the amount of $200 per term up to $1,000 and will not be applied to any failed course. Scholarship is available to new students before attending or within their first term attending Spartan College of Aeronautics and Technology.


 
Spartan College of Aeronautics and Technology – Civil Air Patrol - Regional Scholarships
Spartan College of Aeronautics and Technology offers one (1) $5,000 scholarships to a cadet from each CAP region.  Cadets must be a high school senior or graduate, current CAP cadet in good standing, have earned Billy Mitchell Award, maintain 3.0 GPA, be of high moral character, receive recommendation from Unit Commander and provide summary of accomplishments. Scholarships will be awarded in the form of a tuition reduction in the amount of $1000 per term up to $5000 and will not be applied to any failed course. Scholarship is available to new students before attending or within their first term attending Spartan College of Aeronautics and Technology.
 
Spartan College of Aeronautics and Technology – W.G. Skelly Civil Air Patrol National Technology Scholarship
Spartan College of Aeronautics and Technology offers one (1) full-tuition scholarship annually towards any Spartan technology diploma program. Cadets must be a high school senior or graduate, current CAP cadet in good standing, have earned Billy Mitchell Award, maintain 3.5 GPA, be of high moral character, receive recommendation from Unit Commander, demonstrate outstanding leadership in the CAP, demonstrate high level of professionalism in appearance both in and out of uniform and provide summary of accomplishments. Scholarship will not be applied to any failed course. All other costs (failed courses, tools, living expenses and student fees) will be the responsibility of the student. Only applies to technology programs.

 TEXAS A&M UNIVERSITY Corps of Cadets

With the largest uniformed student body in the nation, Texas A&M is a school where CAP cadets can continue their study of leadership while attending a major university.  Cadets that attend the Junior Cadet Accessions Program (JCAP) are eligible for a Corps scholarship and those scholarship recipients automatically qualify for in-state tuition.  The JCAP offers cadets a first-hand experience with the Corps of Cadets for two days.
