Join a mission-driven organization that supports Civil Air Patrol’s nationwide operations! We’re seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Coordinator to advise customers and senior management on aircraft maintenance requirements, parts issues, and repair processes for a geographically dispersed fleet of approximately 550 general aviation aircraft. The coordinator will recommend appropriate maintenance actions and parts replacement using CAP and FAA regulations for guidance and policy enforcement. This position is also responsible for tracking and investigating recurring discrepancies with manufacturers, third-party vendors, and operating units, as well as support onboarding and knowledge transfer for newly assigned maintenance personnel.
Salary Range: $66,300 - $86,300 (annually), based on experience and qualifications.

What We’re Looking For

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Associate’s degree or higher preferred (focus in Aviation Maintenance preferred).

Minimum of four years general aviation aircraft maintenance or maintenance coordination experience.

Working knowledge of general aviation aircraft systems, parts, and maintenance practices.

Working knowledge of FAA regulations applicable to general aviation maintenance, including airworthiness requirements, maintenance recordkeeping, and regulatory compliance.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint); familiarity with Access and Power BI preferred.

Experience working with aircraft maintenance tracking systems (e.g., CAMP, PlaneLogix, Trax, or similar platforms).

Technologically proficient using web-based applications and maintenance tracking systems.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic operational environment.

Ability to work independently and produce timely and accurate results.
