Salary:  $45,000 - $50,000

Serves as the central point of contact for all issues arising throughout an individual’s employment lifecycle with the Corporation – from applicant to employee to termination. Learn to manage the day-to-day operations of the human resources office, as well as the administration of the human resources policies. Review routine issues or problems and develops solutions following established policy.  Closely coordinates with the Human Resources manager and senior leaders to resolve complex issues. Ensures all employees correctly interpret corporate Human Resources policies and procedures and presents employee concerns to management.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related field from an institution accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education is required.

  • Excellent PC skills, including proficiency with MS Windows products to include word processing, spreadsheets, and development of briefing slides are required.

  • Must be able to compose non-technical correspondence using a strong command of the English language and proper punctuation.

  • Must have general knowledge and the ability to apply FMLA, ADA, HIPPA, COBRA and worker’s compensation as well as the federal and state laws related to staffing and providing benefits for employees.

  • Program management skills are required.

  • Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • The ability to research and, provide guidance is essential.

  • Must be adept at problem-solving, including being able to identify issues and resolve them promptly.

  • Previous experience with HRIS software and timekeeping system is preferred.

  • The ideal candidate will work as an HR Generalist Trainee and be eligible for non-competitive promotion to HR Generalist with one year of successful HR training.
