SUMMARY:
Primarily serving as an entry-level project manager, the Program Administrator - Cadet Career Exploration Camps will help Civil Air Patrol develop, implement, and evaluate STEM- and character-related career exploration camps annually (the “National Cadet Special Activities”) for about 1,500 teenaged cadets who voluntarily participate in the CAP Cadet Program. Daily work will center upon project tracking, bookkeeping, and administrative functions, under the direction of the Cadet Career Explorations program manager.
IDEAL CANDIDATE MUST POSSESS:

High school diploma or GED required. College degree preferred.

Six months’ experience tracking or managing projects preferred.

Experience in youth development or camps is a plus.

Familiarity with the CAP Cadet Program is a plus.

The ability to work in virtual environments is required.

Intermediate-level skills in MS Excel are required (e.g., pivot tables, formulas, charts and graphs, macros, multi-sheet files, etc.).

Competence in MS Word and MS Outlook is required.

Familiarity with MS Teams and MS Planner is a plus.

Superb customer service and service recovery skills are required.

Must have competent business writing skills: well-worded and grammatically correct email replies to customers and succinct posts for our blog and social media.

Previous experience in bookkeeping or a similar role is a plus.

Superb attention to detail in examining invoices requesting payment, analyzing program data, and tracking hundreds of tasks through to completion annually is required.

Valid state driver’s license.
