Col. R. Jason Bailey

Col. Bailey R. Jason Bailey served as Vice Commander/South of the Mid-Atlantic Region from November 2020-August 2021. He previously served as North Carolina Wing Commander from 2016 -2020 and has held command positions at the Wing, Squadron, and Group level and staff assignments up to the National level. Among his Emergency Services ratings, he is a Ground Team Leader, Mission Pilot, Cadet Orientation Pilot, and Incident Commander. He has served as the Director of the Middle East Region (now Mid-Atlantic Region) Staff College and Cadet Leadership School. He holds Master ratings in the Administration, Cadet Programs, Command, Communications, Emergency Services, Logistics and Professional Development specialty tracks and Senior ratings in Aerospace Education, Personnel and Safety.

Col. Bailey was born and raised in Mebane, North Carolina. He is employed by Avista Technologies, Inc., as Applications and Sales Manager for the Southeastern United States.
