Lt Col Kevin Houser
Lt Col Houser has been in Civil Air Patrol for over 12 years and has participated in many of the core missions of CAP. He is a Senior Flight Release Officer, a Mission Pilot/Observer/Scanner and Airborne Photographer as well as having served as Squadron Commander, Finance Officer and Aerospace Education Officer at the squadron level and Deputy Group Commander and Operations Officer at the group level and Finance Director for Ohio Wing.
He has extensive interest and experience in the innovation process and is currently the Patent Estate Director for a major US based medical company with responsibilities for the overall patent estate of the company as well as idea harvesting from its research and development teams. He is also a registered Patent Agent with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Prior to his current position in the company he had over twenty years experience as a design engineer and is listed as an inventor on over 250 US patents, for technologies ranging from inkjet printing and implantable glucose monitoring devices to Ultrasonic surgical devices and other associate medical devices.
