Reason:  To transmit Garmin Service Alert No. 070227-00

Description:  Cessna has been informed by Garmin that a condition may exist which may cause misleading navigational information to be displayed to the pilot.

Compliance:  Mandatory; verification that the correct Garmin Cockpit Reference Guide and the attached Garmin Aerial Naviation Product Alert, Service Alert No. 070227-00 is in the airplane shall be accomplished before flight under IFR and no later than the next scheduled inspection, not to exceed 50 hours ro 30 days, whichever occurs first.
