Reason:  Reports have been received for fluctuating and inoperative engine RPM tachometer indications.

Compliance:  For CAP aircraft this is MANDATORY:  should be accomplished at the next annual/12 month type inspection or if fluctuating and/or inoperative engine RPM tachometer indications are occurring. 

CREDIT EXPIRATION DATE:   18 June 2009
