Cessna Service Bulletin SB09-27-02

Effectivity:  CAP Aircraft with the following serial numbers 20608001 thru 20608317, 20608319

Reason:  It has been determined that on some airplanes the elevator trim stop blocks may not be rigged to the correct position.  If the stop blocks are not correctly positioned, there may be a potential for them to catch on the elevator trim cable turnbuckle.

Description:  The stop blocks on the elevator trim control cables shall be inspected and, if necessary, moved to the correct position as shown in this Service Bulletin.

Compliance:  Mandatory; shall be accomplished within the next 50 hours of operation or 12 months, whichever occurs first.
