Cessna Service Bulletin SB09-34-09

Effectivity:  The following CAP airplanes equipped with the Garmin G1000 Avionics Option:

 

182T     18281228, 18281318 thru 18281868, 18281870 thru 18282116

 

T182T   T18208232 thru T18208664, T18208666 thru T18208872

 

206H    20608216 thru 20608278, 20608280 thru 20608308

 

Reason:  Cessna has been informed by Garmin that some Multifunction Display (MFD) and Primary Flight Display (PFD) units may have been supplied to Cessna and subsequently installed on Cessna airplanes with the large (out) BARO know (sets the altimeter barometric pressure) and the small (inner) CRS knob (sets the airplane course) that may catch on each other.  Note: This issue was previously addressed by Garmin SB 0823 Rev B

 

Compliance:  Mandatory; shall be accomplished within the next 100 hours or 6 months, whichever occurs first.
