Cessna Service Letter - SEL-57-04

Each affected aircraft will have to be defueled and the wing struts disconnected in order to inspect these fittings. If the fittings have a forming-tool mark they will have to be replaced. This inspection is required at the next 100 hour or annual inspection whichever occurs first. The following CAP aircraft are affected by serial number.

Please insure this bulletin is complied with at each of the above aircraft’s next 100hr/annual inspection. Please inform your contract shops that NHQ will be providing the affected fitting if required. Cessna allows 4.5 hours labor to conduct the inspection and 1.0 hours to replace the affected fitting if required. Please contact NHQ/LGM if you have any questions.
