GippsAero SB-GA8-2009-56 Electrical connection overheating

There have been reports indicating overheating of the overhead electrical connection used by the cabin fresh air blower. Gippsland Mandatory Service Bulletin, SB-GA8-2009-56, addresses this issue by replacing several components associated with this electrical connection.  The repair is due at the next 100hr/Annual inspection and must be completed prior to 14 Aug 2023.

NHQ has ordered and received all of the required and optional parts for the repairs and will ship them out when each aircraft is taken into the shop to have these repairs completed.
