Hartzell Engine Technologies (HET) Service Bulletin 045

Engine Fuel Pump Inspection

Effectivity: Serial #: T18208001 thru T18209058

Hartzell Engine Technologies (HET) has issued service bulletin 045 concerning their engine driven fuel pump, PN# 201F-5001 thru 5008, that could be installed on our T182T aircraft. The bulletin requires removal of the affected fuel pumps if installed. Our records indicate none of our aircraft (tail numbers below) have a HET pump installed. However, to insure our records are accurate and to facilitate the accomplishment of the bulletin we are requesting a visual inspection.

Cessna SB10-73-02 - Engine Fuel Injection Lines and Support Clamps Inspection

Models Affected: 172R, 172S, 182S, 182T, T182T, 206H, & T206H.  This Service Bulletin supersedes SB00-73-01, SB00-73-01 Revision 1 and 2, and SB04-73-01.

Reason: To transmit Lycoming Mandatory Service Bulletin No. 342F which requires a repetitive inspection of fuel lines and clamps between the engine fuel injector manifold and fuel nozzles.

Compliance: Mandatory; accomplish as specified in Lycoming Mandatory Service Bulletin No 342F (or latest revision)

Credit Information: Not applicable. Compliance with the repetative inspection at 100 hour inspections, annual inspection, or engine overhaul is considered scheduled routine maintenance.
