Cessna SEB10-3 - Carburetor Float Replacement - Continental Engine Airplanes

Purchase: To transmit Teledyne Continental Motors (TCM) Service Bulletin SB09-3 and Volare Carburetors Service Bulletin SB-2 and TCM Service Bulletin SB09-6A and Volare Carburetors Service Bulletin SB-B, SUPERSEDED SERVICE BULLETIN MSA-13.

All affected carburetors should be inspected and have the floats replaced as described in TCM SB09-3 (or latest revision) and Volare Carburetors SB-2 (or latest revision) Required Replacement of Foam and Hollow Floats.

Compliance: Compliance is recommended: Inspection of the carburetor should be accomplished within the next 30 days and at 30 day intervals thereafter until the float is replaced as stated in TCM Service Bulletin SB09-3 (or latest revision) and Volare Carburetors Service Bulletin SB-2 (or latest revision).

If the carburetor shows any signs of flooding or possible deterioration, the float shall be replaced replaced prior to further flight.
