Cessna Service Bulletin SB08-25-01

The following Garmin G1000 Nav III airplanes that are equipped with a part number 452-201-006 CO detector with serial number less than 70000 and has not been overhauled:

• 182T – 18281742 thru 18281886

Also affected are all 452-201-006 CO Detectors as described above that are in Service Station stock.

Reason:  It has been determined that some of the affected CO detector units may contain some internal electrical components that are installed incorrectly.

Description:  The affected CO detector units should be inspected and if necessary, replaced as described in this SB.  Affected CO detectors may give a false CO DET FAIL advisory message.

Compliance:  Recommended; should be accomplished at the next scheduled 100 hour/12 month (annual) type inspection or within the next 12 months, whichever occurs first.  Credit
