Reason:  It has been determined that some airplanes may have been delivered with an improperly manufactured fuel strainer firewall fitting, and that this fitting may have been torqued to a value higher than the specified torque.

Compliance:  Recommended: should be accomplished at the next scheduled 100 hour/12 month (annual) type inspection or within 12 months, whichever occurs first.
