Cessna Service Bulletin SB11-27-05

Reason: Cessna has received reports of aileron control cable chafing in three location as follows:

- the rub strips on the wing ribs

- the fairlead on the servo bracket

- the pulleys in the cabin overhead.

This chaffing can shorten the usable life of the cable.

Compliance: Should be accomplished within the next 100hrs of operation or 12 months, whichever occurs first.
