CHAPLAIN CORPS EMERGENCY SERVICE SCHOOL (ChESS)

CAP Chaplain Corps Emergency Services Training Program Information

Online/Virtual Basic ChESS (CAP Support)
Scheduled for 03 - 27 October 2022, has been CANCELLED until a future date TBD.

Those personnel who have already registered for this course, your registrations will be kept on file, and you will be given first priority entrance into this course when it is rescheduled or into another future ChESS Basic VTC going forward.  Any further questions or concerns contact mtaylor@hc.cap.gov.

2022 ON-LINE TRAINING LEADERS OF CADETS (TLC)

Basic Course is offered quarterly by the RMR/NCR Chaplain Corps Normally scheduled on the 3rd Saturday of the first month of each quarter

Registration will open some weeks in advance of the March 18th session.

There are three modules to be completed in the old CAP eServices Learning Management System before the class. These modules can be found under Cadet Programs / TLC Basic in the LMS.

 

CHAPLAIN CORPS COLLEGE COURSES

The Aux Chaplain Course and Advanced Character Development courses are required by CAPP 40-80 for rating advancements for both chaplains and CDIs (Senior and Master). 

The Aux Chaplain Course (Phase I) is for chaplains interested in the 4 phase program.  The first phase allows chaplains to support the VA military funeral missions at National Cemeteries.

The Wing Chaplain and Advanced CD classes are available to everyone.

To complete the application for entry into the Auxiliary Chaplain Course, a program requirement is to submit a memorandum letter on CAP letterhead that is correctly endorsed by your wing, region, or other appropriate supervising chaplain. This memorandum letter must come from your CAP HC email address and be sent directly to registrar.capccc@hc.cap.gov. This is your first graded exercise of the course. You may refer to CAPP 1-2 for specifics on creating and signing a CAP memorandum letter.
