CAP Instructor Program

Civil Air Patrol is investigating a new approach to distance learning and has recently entered into a beta test with the Air Force Institute of Advanced Distributed Learning. While we are not ready to open this test to everyone, we are working with the beta test group on ways to improve your experiences once we finish our analysis.
 
One of the first distance learning courses that we are considering to offer is the CAP Instructor Program (CAP IP). The CAP IP is based on the highly regarded Air Force Academic Instuctor School curriculum and will be presented using distance learning methods.

The primary focus of the CAP Instructor Program will be on educational foundations, methods of instruction, technology, communication skills and evaluation along with practical exercises. Continuing education activities will also be an integral part of the overall program. The intent is to meet the acknowledged need for a dedicated CAP instructor preparation program.
