Home of the Louisville Slugger, the Kentucky Derby, bluegrass, an elixir better known as bourbon, and the famous Thunder Over Louisville air show, Louisville is family-friendly and affordable.
Members traveling by air should fly into Louisville International Airport (SDF). While the hotel doesn't provide a shuttle, the Kentucky Wing will offer transportation Tuesday-Saturday (stand by for hours of operation). Members will also be standing by in the airport to assist. Traveling by road is easy too, with the hotel easily accessible by Interstates 65 and 64.
2022 National Conference Keynotes

Join us in the Ballroom for the Friday Morning Keynote. CAP's National Commander Maj. Gen. Edward Phelka will welcome everyone to the conference and give the 2022 State of the Organization address. There will be multiple award presentations including the AFNORTH Commander's Award.
Enjoy a boxed lunch during the Friday Lunch Keynote. Lt. Gen Bruce "Orville" Wright, president of the Air & Space Force Association, will speak and awards will be presented for the aerospace education award categories. Executive Director of the Air Force Sergeant's Association, Keith Reed, will be on-hand to award the Cadet NCO of the Year. The event will also feature Vanessa Blacknall-Jamison, change advisor and leadership coach for FEMA.

Join your fellow members for an exciting Saturday Morning Keynote featuring renowned innovation speaker, professor, and author, Dr. Jeff DeGraff and change advisor and leadership coach for FEMA, Vanessa Blacknall-Jamison. There will also be the presentation of several award winners, including the JanEX prize winners for innovation.
During the Saturday Lunch Keynote, hear from Geospatial Information Officer, Chris Vaughan from FEMA and from Safety Industry expert, Richard Hawk. We'll recognize several emergency services award winners and hear from one of CAPs sponsors, Bob Gibbs, from Textron.
