2022 National AEO School Registration Information

Registration Information

Registration is a two-step process. Each participant needs to complete the following:

1. Sign up and pay for AEO School on Eventbrite.

2. Make lodging arrangements through Best Western (if you are staying at the Best Western, which will serve as the home base from which we will leave and return for all events).

Lodging information: 

We have reserved a block of rooms at the Cocoa Beach Best Western. 

Hotel Rate is $157.92 (tax included) per night.

Each participant will need to make their reservations online or by calling Cocoa Beach Best Western.

Check-in Sunday, June 26, and check-out Friday, July 1. 

Times: Check-in is 4 p.m. and check-out is 11 a.m.

  • Call 321-783-7621 and ask for Reservations @ extension 2735 (Must mention Civil Air Patrol AEO School to receive $157.92 room rate.)

  • Online: Book here

*Should you choose to come early, the Best Western will allow our group to check in up to three days early and honor the room rate.  

*Due to the 4th of July weekend, holiday rates would apply to those who wish to stay after the school. 

*If participants wish to come in early or stay late, registration will need to be done by phone.  

Room reservations must be made prior to June 1. After that time, rooms will be released.  

Attendees are responsible for canceling reservations 72 hours prior to arrival to avoid a first-night room cancellation fee.

Attendees will pay for lodging and then submit receipt to receive the $500 reimbursed by CAP National Headquarters.

Airport arrival/departure:

If you are flying, please refer to the Airport information form.

A rental car is not needed during the school, unless you choose to have your own transportation. Transportation will be provided by CAP vans.

Dress code:
AEO School will be held on Patrick Space Force Base in the Defense Equal Opportunity Management Institute (DEOMI).  The dress code is business casual.  CAP Polo is fine but no shorts or flip flops.

  • CAP uniform is required on Monday. Any combination is acceptable.

  • Tuesday-Friday, CAP casual uniform combination OR business casual.

Refund/cancellation policy:
There is a $20 processing fee for cancellations until June 17. Attendees who cancel after June 17 will be charged a $50 cancellation fee.

Registration is limited to the first 60 AEOs. Registration closes June 1 or when limit has been met.
