The 20th Annual CAP National Aerospace Education Officers School

The 20th Annual CAP National Aerospace Education Officers School is open to Aerospace Education Officers (AEOs) and Aerospace Education Members (AEMs). The school will be held on Patrick Space Force Base, Florida. Presentations, hands-on activities, field trips and networking opportunities highlight the week.

Cocoa Beach, Florida

When:

AEOs: Class Monday, June 12-Friday, June 16

  • Monday - Thursday: 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. 

  • Friday: 8 a.m. - 3 p.m. 

- AEOs attend Monday session to receive training on the duties and responsibilities of the AEO position.

*AEOs, plan to arrive on Sunday, June 11.

AEMs: Class Tuesday, June 13-Friday, June 16

  • Tuesday - Thursday: 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. 

  • Friday: 8 a.m. - 3 p.m. 

*AEMs plan to arrive on Monday, June 12.

Registration is limited to 70 participants, first come, first served. Please register soon!

  • Program fee:

    • AEOs - $129

    • AEMs - $119

  • Registration fee includes:

  • Daily complimentary breakfast at Cocoa Beach Best Western

  • All course materials

  • Fieldtrips to Kennedy Space Center and Cape Canaveral 

  • Lunch on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday (Wednesday lunch is on your own at Kennedy Space Center -- day is subject to change.)

  • Monday, June 12 – Pizza dinner at the Sands Space History Museum – families welcome!    

  • Thursday, June 15 – Stargazing and Ice Cream Social – families welcome!

  • Voucher for partial lodging reimbursement – must submit receipt to NHQ

Reimbursement amount*:

  • AEOs - $600.

  • AEMs - $500

*In order to receive reimbursement for lodging, attendees must stay at the Cocoa Beach Best Western which will serve as the home base from which we will leave and return for all events.  This is a per room reimbursement, not an individual reimbursement.
