National AEO School Registration Process

Welcome to the National AEO School Registration Information Page. Registration is a four-step process.  This page guides you through the four registration steps for the school. We look forward to hosting the 17th Annual June 24-28, 2019 at Pensacola Naval Air Station and hope to see you there. Contact aex@capnhq.gov if you have any questions.

Each participant needs to complete the following by June 1:
•Sign up and pay for AEO School on Eventbrite.
•Complete the AEO School application.
•Make lodging arrangements.
•Complete base access form.

Step 1:

Sign up and pay on Eventbrite. (Registration is limited to 50 Aerospace Education Officers (AEOs) and 30 Aerospace Education Members (AEMs).

Refund/cancellation policy: There is a $20 processing fee for cancellations until June 17. Attendees who cancel after June 17 will be charged a $50 cancellation fee.

Step 2:

Complete the application. Be sure to fill out the appropriate application. AEOs check this link.  AEMs check this link. Also see links on the sidebar of this page. Return your completed application to aex@capnhq.gov.

Step 3:

Make lodging arrangements. We have reserved a block of rooms on the naval base. The rooms are $85 per night, including tax. Please contact Bernadette Johnson at 850-452-3625 or Bernadette.johnson1@navy.mil and indicate you are attending the CAP AEO School. The Group ID is #30760109186. You will pay full price in advance for your lodging and then be reimbursed by CAP National Headquarters.

Reimbursement:

  • $300 for AEOs
  • $250 for AEMs

Instructions for reimbursement will be available at the school.

Step 4:

Complete the Base Access Form:

The National AEO School will take place on the Pensacola Naval Air Station. Everyone attending the AEO School, including spouses and children 15 and over, will be required to complete the Base Access Pass Registration. Find the form at this link. (If link does not open, right click and select "Save target as" to download to your computer.)

Exceptions: Anyone that possesses a CAC, retiree, or dependent I.D. card may send their DoD ID number and will not need to complete the base access form.

1. Question 14 – Provide two sources of identification.  Fill out the requested information – you do not have to provide a copy of the IDs.
2. Question 25 – Base Sponsor is Civil Air Patrol: 877-227-9142.
3. You may leave questions 28 and 30 blank, all other questions must be answered.
4. Question 29 – answer and initial.
5. You will need to print, sign and date.
6. Forms must be received by June 1.
