NASA's "WORLD" Video

NASA's "World" Video:  View NASA's inspirational video featuring the International Space Station and its crews set to the song "World" by recording artists Five for Fighting. The video features imagery of both the space station and the space shuttles that have served as the workhorses of space station construction and resupply. It uses selections from orbit as well as Earth-bound training and launch activities to communicate the importance of space exploration and its benefits for future generations.

Join AMA for Free!

Do you have students or cadets under the age of 19?  Did you know they can join the Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA) for FREE?  Click here for AMA membership info.    Check out the 9-minute video clip showing the signing and information about CAP. CAP AE is pleased to offer a curriculum product to our members called CAP-TERS, which stands for Civil Air Patrol Teachers Educational Remote Sensing.  This DVD product gives teachers and AEOs a tool to teach geography and aerospace education.  If you would like to find out more and order the DVD, log into eServices and click the "AE Downloads" link on the left side of the screen.  You will then see CAP-TERS located at the bottom of the "AE Downloads" page.

2014 Contests

  • Team America Rocketry Challenge 
  • NASA Contests (and other opportunities)  
  • M3Challenge:  Moody's Mega Math Challenge is an Internet-based, applied math competition for high school juniors and seniors.  The competition is free to register and participate and is open to high schools in 29 states. 
  • Zero Robotics: Zero Robotics is an exciting International Space Station (ISS) national laboratory robotics programming competition which uses the Synchronized Position Hold and Reorient Experimental Satellites (SPHERES) facility, which is aboard the ISS.  (A middle school competition is planned for the summer of 2013.)  There is NO CHARGE for joining the competition!
