Civil Air Patrol Named Finalist in Pilots Choice Awards
Civil Air Patrol is one of 12 finalists for Lightspeed Aviation Foundation's 2015 Pilots Choice Awards grant program, which awards up to $10,000 depending on each finalist's vote ranking.
AF Museum To Host CAP Day
The National Museum of the Air Force in Dayton, Ohio, will host Civil Air Patrol Day Saturday, Feb. 21. CAP members get free admission and a discount on special attractions (advance reservations required for special attractions). Email theatre@afmuseum.com for more information.

Send Your Name to Mars
NASA is inviting the public to send their names on a microchip to Mars aboard the Orion spacecraft. Orion's first flight, a 4.5-hour, two-orbit test mission is scheduled for Dec. 4. Your name's journey continues after splashdown as the names will fly on future NASA exploration flights and missions to Mars. The deadline submit your name to the test flight is. Oct. 31.
