CAP Aerospace Education can help enrich STEM programs for middle school and high school students.

AEX

Civil Air Patrol offers its Aerospace Education Excellence (AEX) program to its AEMs who teach grades 7-12. Educators in the program have access to lessons developed by CAP and industry subject matter professionals.  AEX lessons focus on introducing STEM career connections and innovative thinking. All are aligned to national standards and promote teamwork and collaboration. The lessons, as well as an AEX Launch Guide, are located online in our Learning Management System, Absorb. The AEX program also allows you to use lessons you have already prepared in order to complete the program for certificates you can provide your students during school awards day.

LESSON PLANNING

In addition to the AEX-specific curriculum materials, CAP offers an extensive digital library of cross-curricular7-12 teaching resources, all tagged for grade level and content.

STEM KIT PROGRAM

Also with your membership, teachers get access to the free STEM Kit program, which offers a selection of kits for grades 7-12. These introductory kits provide inquiry-based resources tailored to enhance your instruction. Options may change according to demand and availability during the year.
