ACE PROGRAM

Civil Air Patrol offers Aerospace Connections in Education (ACE) to its AEMs who teach grades K-6. The grade-specific aerospace/STEM program is fun, interactive and designed to engage and inspire early-age youth toward an interest in aviation, space, and other STEM-related careers. The online curriculum guides are grade-level specific and include 22 lessons per guide aligned with national academic standards. Each ACE teacher receives a classroom set of free educational manipulatives, such as the foam glider pictured, right.

LESSON PLANNING

In addition to the ACE curriculum guides, CAP offers an extensive digital library of cross-curricular resources for K-6, tagged for grade level and content.

STEM KIT PROGRAM

Also with your membership, teachers get access to the free STEM Kit program, which offers a selection of kits for grades K-6. These introductory kits provide inquiry-based resources tailored to enhance your instruction. Options may change according to demand and availability during the year.
