STEM Kit Program
A STEM Kit Program Update
The STEM Kit program continues to set new records! So far this fiscal year, this program filled 1,800 applications, reached 155,241 participants and distributed 3,600 kits. We want to thank our members for applying for a kit, waiting patiently for their kit to arrive, working with students and cadets and for being diligent in completing evaluations.
Beginning June 1, 2019, the STEM Kit program will be temporarily closed for program management to analyze data in order to better serve our members. The STEM Kit program will now be a 9-month program available from September 1 through May 31. We will no longer accept applications during June, July and August. We believe these changes will allow us to use the summer months for evaluation, modifications and updates to our program.
Please stay tuned in the coming months to find out more about what we have in store.
Calling all AE Officers and Educators:
Do you have a great lesson plan that you use in conjunction with one of our STEM Kits offered by CAP? If so, we need you! We are asking all members who are interested in submitting lesson plans to click here for more information. Our goal for this year with the STEM Kit Program is to have a collection of lessons, created for you by you, to be shared on our Learning Management System through eServices.
