Hello Cadets and Seniors!
Last year, the idea of having three in person meetings for the NCAC was brought up to our National Commander, Maj Gen Mark Smith. The individuals who presented this idea believed that having an in-person meeting at the beginning of the year would help with continuity, team unity and would promote productivity amongst the National CAC. In late October of 2018, the National CAC met for their first in-person meeting, of three, for the 2018-2019 term. For two days, the Region Representatives collaborated and discussed potential projects and initiatives to take on this term, and after discussing amongst ourselves and members of the National Staff, we took on six new projects for this term. Of the many possible projects we brainstormed, the National CAC narrowed in on a few that we believe will benefit the organization as a whole, but more importantly the Cadet Program. Some of the projects we are working on this term include achievement renaming, investigating how we can convert the Learn to Lead textbooks into audiobooks, as well as converting all textbooks into a digital format. Since this meeting, the National CAC has been working diligently to prepare our proposals to present in Washington D.C. in February.
