CAP Cadets & Young Eagles

CAP is partners with EAA, the Experimental Aircraft Association. When cadets complete their first CAP orientation flight, EAA considers them one of their “Young Eagles.” A cadet's status as a “Young Eagle” comes with zero obligations, but some great benefits, including:

The month following their first orientation flight posted in eServices, cadets automatically receive an email explaining how to acquire their Young Eagles benefits. 

 

FAQ / Troubleshooting

Q:  I'm a cadet who has completed an orientation flight, but I haven't seen an email about Young Eagles. What should I do?
A:  Talk with your squadron aerospace education officer (AEO) to ensure your orientation flight has been recorded. 

Q:  I'm an AEO. Some of my cadets haven't received their Young Eagle benefits. What should I do?
