Great Start Beta Test

We're looking for units to help us quality check the updated Great Start program.  Does that 20 minute class actually take 30 minutes or more?  Is there an item missing from a materials needed checklist?  Is too much emphasis put on one topic and not enough on another?  Let us know if the program works in your unit the way NHQ imagines it will.  Volunteer for the Great Start Beta Test below.  

Anyone is welcome to check out the draft Great Start materials and give feedback.  By signing up for the Beta Test you're volunteering to host an Open House and Great Start cohort as directed in the draft pamphlet and provide detailed feedback about what works and what doesn't in your squadron.  We recommend setting your Open House date at least 6 weeks in advance to allow for ample publicity.  You're welcome to kick off in November or December, but watch out for the holidays interfering with your plans.  We recommend planning for a New Years Open House in January.  That's week one of the recommended eight week Great Start program.  If you're not able to host a Saturday field day, the program extends to 11 weeks.  In any event, we'd like the cohort to finish up by the end of March.  Participants will receive periodic updates, advice, and questionnaires throughout the test.  Final questionnaires will go out in April 2023.  The final Great Start program incorporating the feedback will be published in May 2023.
