CAP ForeFlight Accounts
Civil Air Patrol is included in the U.S. Air Force purchase of the ForeFlight Military Flight Bag Performance application. This allows CAP pilots access to a powerful Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) tool for flight planning, navigation, and in-flight situational awareness. Under the Air Force contract, each account can be used on up to two iPads and one iPhone.
To streamline the process, we've created an interactive form for account requests. Please complete the online form linked below to get started.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for a CAP ForeFlight account, you must meet one of the following criteria:

Senior Member who is a CAP VFR Pilot (validated in Ops Quals)

Cadet who is a CAP VFR Pilot (validated in Ops Quals)

Cadet who is self-funding their flight training in CAP Aircraft (includes through local scholarship or Wing funds)

Cadet who is completing their flight training through the National Cadet Wings Program or the Advanced Flight Training Academy (AFTA)
Not sure if you are qualified as a CAP VFR Pilot? Use the "What Do I Need?" tool on Ops Quals to determine if you are current in one of those qualifications.
Foreflight will only work on devices running iOS (iPhones/iPads) and a web browser on a computer. It is not compatible with Android devices, so before requesting an account, please ensure you have a compatible device.
