Air Force Emergency Operations Center Director Course Training
The Civil Air Patrol National Headquarters Operations Directorate provides a mission briefing covering the resources and capabilities of CAP/AFAUX at each Air Force Emergency Operations Center Director Course (Formerly the Air Force Incident Management Course (AFIMC) or On Scene Commanders Course (OSCC)) in-residence class at Maxwell AFB. For the "road show" courses CAP/DO normally lines up the wing commander or an experienced operations person and an experienced reservist or liaison region staff member to give the same presentation. This is a great opportunity to educate Air Force EOC Directors and key first responders on CAP's resources and capabilities to assist. A dozen or more of these courses are run annually, and the schedules and locations vary. Normally CAP has a firm schedule a month or two out. The most up to date briefing is linked to this page. If you have been selected to brief, we suggest that you review the presentation and get familiar with it before your presentation. Should you have any questions, please contact CAP/DO at DO@capnhq.gov.
