Both East and West coast classes are open for others outside of those regions on a space available basis. Then contact Col Jack Ozer at jozer@ner.cap.gov for East Coast (Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, and Southeast Regions'- Including Puerto Rico) classes; Col Carol Lynn clynn@cap.gov for West Coast Classes (Pacific Region including Alaska and Hawaii); Col Mark Lahan for Mid-West/Mississippi Valley (North Central and Great Lakes Regions') classes at mlahan@ncr.cap.gov. 4. FEMA K-2300, K2302, K2304, K2306, and - K-2308 series classes are not hosted by CAP but are open to all members and each class has one or more NESA-MTT instructor(s) on the class faculty. Go to the following link to apply. DHS-FEMA General Admissions Application  You will be required to have a Federal Student ID Number to attend all FEMA classes. This can be obtained by going to FEMA Student Identification (SID) System (dhs.gov)  You will also have to provide documentation of all prerequisites to attend. Information on each course and the prerequisites can be found at https://www.firstrespondertraining.gov/frts/npccatalog. The sponsoring organization official for all CAP course applications is the member’s Wing Commander. You do not need to go through your state when applying as a CAP member.

5. Special Delivery Classes of K2300 series courses are intended for Senior Incident Commander audiences and are by invitation only through Region/Wing CC/DO/DOS. . Prerequisites include members who are IC3 or above, have completed IS 2200, and the members are planned to be used in Local, State, or Federal Emergency Operations Centers.

6. Virtual Table Top Exercises (VTTX). This program supports both Region and Wing needs to prepare for specific "All-Hazards" incidents prevalent in their areas of operation.  Facilitated by either FEMA or FEMA trained NESA-MTT instructors, each scenario is provided over a four-hour period, allowing for region/wing Incident Management Teams to discuss their response options. Scenarios include, earthquake, hurricane, floods (river and flash), mass crowds, power outages, fires, and other natural and technological hazard incidents.  Focus is on CAP's role in the response.

If you have any questions relative to the NESA-MTT schedule. Please go to DOSI@capnhq.gov or call (480) 298-2603.
