AFA Awards recognize outstanding cadets
CAP aerospace partner, the Air & Space Forces Association (AFA), provides CAP two ways to recognize outstanding cadets!
1) Every CAP cadet and composite squadron has the opportunity to reward an outstanding squadron cadet each year with a nice ribbon/medal/certificate. Between now and Jan. 15, every squadron can submit an award package request form as found below. This will recognize a cadet of any rank or position who best exemplifies a high level of excellence in any area of CAP.

2) The AFA awards the National Outstanding CAP AE Cadet each year, as well.
The nomination is due to the wing by Jan. 15 for a wing nominee to go to the region by Feb. 14 for a region winner to be sent forth for national consideration by March 15.
