TLC Instructors & Course Directors

The TLC Basic and Intermediate Courses prepare adult leaders to lead cadets at the unit level. They are administered by the wing level or higher. If your wing has groups, they may also be administered at the group level. TLC-B & TLC-I must be offered at least once per
year in each wing. The commander of the host echelon (group commander, wing commander, region commander) selects the host director, who should possess a master rating in the Cadet Programs Officer specialty track. To foster a learning environment that encourages open discussion among adults, cadets are prohibited from participating ( or observing/ teaching)  in TLC.  CAPR 60-1, Section 2.3.2 of the 2021 version.

If you are interested in hosting a course, contact your Wing Director of Cadet programs.

When implementing a TLC course, be sore to follow the guidelines in the TLC Program Guide & Course Director's Handbook
