Hour Of Code Promotes Computer Science Education

The Hour of Code event, set for Dec. 5-11, is a worldwide effort to promote computer science, starting with one-hour coding activities and expanding to community efforts. It takes place every year during Computer Science Education Week, and organizers say the event has reached millions of students in more than 180 countries.  Educators are invited to participate by hosting an hour and even going beyond the hour.
