Aerospace Education team greets members at National Conference

AE in KC

Civil Air Patrol's Aerospace Education team shared the innovation and impact of its products and programs with members who attended the 2026 National Conference in Kansas City, Missouri, Aug. 28-29. In the event's Hangar exhibit hall, AE hosted several tables, where visitors learned about redesigned curriculum and AE programs including STEM Kits, Aerospace Education Excellence (AEX), Aerospace Connections in Education (ACE), High-Altitude Balloon Challenge, CAP/NASA Missions, and CyberPatriot/StellarXplorers. A Sphero Racing challenge with the Sphero STEM Kit and new AE Express lesson plans designed to ease AE Night planning were also among the highlights in the interactive exhibit. In addition, the National AE Team led a learning session to provide attendees the latest in program updates and hosted Office Hours to answer member questions.
