NASA, SpaceX scrub Demo-2 launch

May 27, 2020

3:21 (CDT)

Due to unfavorable weather conditions, NASA and SpaceX have scrubbed today's launch of the Demo-2 test flight to the International Space Station that would have been the first flight carrying astronauts from U.S. soil since 2011. The crew,  astronauts Robert Behnken and Douglas Hurley, were to take off from the historic Launch Complex 39A at Kennedy Space Center in Florida. The complex was the site of Moon launches and Space Shuttle launches.

The next launch attempt will be at 3:22 p.m. EDT on Saturday, May 30, from Launch Complex 39A.
