The National Space Club and Foundation’s Scholars Program is a summer internship sponsored by NASA Goddard Space Flight Center located in Greenbelt, MD and NASA Wallops Flight Facility, in Wallops Island, VA. The six-week program gives high school students aged 16 and up the opportunity to experience the daily operations of research and development organizations. They will also have an opportunity to shadow a technical professional in their field of interest to include earth and space systems science, computer science, and engineering. A stipend of $2,100 will be provided by The National Space Club and Foundation to assist with meal and transportation expenses.  Once the program is completed, students can better determine their career paths and the leading colleges for their careers of choice.

The National Space Club and Foundation’s Scholars Program is scheduled for June 24, 2019 through August 2, 2019.  The deadline for all applications is April 1, 2019.
