All Cadets who have earned the Eaker Award, and who are not yet twenty (20) years old as of 1 September 2019, are invited to apply for the position of National Cadet Advisory Council (NCAC) Chair and/or Vice-Chair. Applicants do NOT need to have already been appointed as incoming Regional Representatives to the NCAC.

(1) a resume of your CAP, academic, and community service accomplishments, and
(2) a statement describing your vision for the NCAC 2019-20 term.
Prior experience on the NCAC is highly desired; but NOT mandatory.
Applicants are strongly encouraged to review the CAC materials in CAPM60-1 and in CAPP 52-19.
Unless indicated otherwise, each applicant will automatically be considered for BOTH positions.
The top candidates MAY be interviewed by Skype, telephone, or in person during the National Conference in Baltimore, MD.
Please note that the NCAC Chair and Vice-Chair are REQUIRED to attend scheduled in-person NCAC meetings in Montgomery, Alabama in November 2019, in Washington, D.C., in March 2020; and at the National Conference in August 2020. National Headquarters will pay for the cadets’ airfare and lodging to these events only. In addition to the physical meetings, the NCAC Chair and Vice Chair must participate in monthly web based meetings and devote substantial time to committee work and coordination.
Before offering a position to a Cadet, National Headquarters will coordinate with the affected Wing and Region Commanders.
