Youth Development Conference Recordings are Posted

If you missed the Youth Development Conference or want to share some of your favorite sessions with other Cadet Programs Officers, they are now posted on the YDC 2022 website! We hope you will share these sessions with the Cadet Program officers in your area. All the resources are available if you wanted to host a webinar or training event using these materials. We’ve posted all the sessions along with the facilitator curriculum so you can lead international reflective debriefs with your members after each session. Conference Sessions: 
The conference this year focused on cultivating cadet programs to be memorable experiences that stimulate powerful learning and growth.  Leaders can leverage the Experiential Learning Cycle and Choice Theory strategies to elevate our already amazing opportunities to be robust and intentional experiences for cadets to learn, reflect, and grow. 

Conference sessions examined how the simple habit of reflection can significantly impact youth development, elevating cadets' experiences from fun and memorable to meaningful, substantial moments of growth. We also discussed how we can elevate the culture of our home units to create environments that support positive youth development, which in-turn foster cadets' intrinsic motivations for learning and growth. Visit the website to read more about this year's conference vision and to see the full schedule.
