New Deputy Director for Cadet Programs

I am thrilled to take on the role of Deputy Director of Cadet Programs within the National Cadet Team at CAP. The organization's rich tradition and stellar reputation are truly inspiring, and I am enthusiastic about contributing to CAP's ongoing success alongside the accomplished and dedicated individuals on the National Cadet Team.
My passion for leadership and youth development has been a driving force throughout my career, most recently as the Eastern Region Program Manager for the Army National Guard Child and Youth Program. In this role, I led a team across 29 states and territories, ensuring program excellence in various areas, including overnight camps, day camps, teen panels, education outreach, and community partnership development. Prior to that, I served as a Youth Program Specialist at Operation: Military Kids, where I developed and implemented youth program curricula for deployment cycle events while fostering essential community relationships. Holding a B.A. in International Relations and an M.A. in Management, I bring a diverse skill set to this role.
On a personal note, I currently reside in the Greenville/Spartanburg, SC area, but my roots trace back to Grove City, Ohio. Growing up with a father who served 15 years in the Army Reserve and having two brothers who attended West Point, alongside a younger sister who is a nurse, I am deeply connected to the values of service. Outside of work, I enjoy reading, traveling, and spending quality time with my family. An exciting addition to my upcoming plans is the adoption of a puppy later this fall.
I am eager to join this team, connected by a common commitment to service, leadership, and the well-being of cadets. Thank you for welcoming me into the CAP community—I look forward to embarking on this exciting journey of positive impact with all of you.
