New Program Manager for Cadet Career Exploration Camps

Posted on October 16, 2024 at 12:00 PM by Chris Guarniere

We are thrilled to announce that Mary Albright has officially joined the National Cadet Programs team as the Program Manager for Cadet Career Exploration Camps! In this role, Mary will be overseeing the National Cadet Special Activities (NCSAs), CSAs, and Cadet Invest, working hand-in-hand with a dedicated team of volunteers to provide unique and transformative experiences for CAP cadets across the nation.

Mary brings nearly 15 years of volunteer service with Civil Air Patrol, where she has held leadership roles such as squadron Deputy Commander for Cadets, Wing Director of Cadet Programs, and Encampment staff member. She’s also represented CAP internationally as an escort officer in the International Air Cadet Exchange to New Zealand. Throughout her service, Mary has earned Master Ratings in Cadet Programs, Aerospace Education, and Professional Development, and completed Level 5 of the CAP Education and Training Program, receiving the distinguished Gill Robb Wilson Award.

Outside of CAP, Mary has a wealth of experience as a business consultant, specializing in operations and personal branding coaching. She was also a co-founder of a nonprofit in Minnesota, which promotes STEM career exploration for high school students. Her diverse background brings fresh insight and passion to her new role with us, and we are excited to see her vision come to life in future cadet programs.

Mary has shared some fun facts about herself, including her love of all things space-related—whether it's Star Wars, Star Trek, or beyond, she considers herself an “equal opportunity space nerd.” She also admits to having "Obsessive Disney Disorder" and firmly believes the magic is real. When she's not working or enjoying some Disney magic, you can find her experimenting in her kitchen, which she calls her lab.

Mary currently resides in the northern suburbs of Minneapolis with her husband, Bryan, and their two adult children.
